Description

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and dishwashing areas.
  • Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently.
  • Assist in food preparation and stocking supplies as needed.
  • Support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Follow health and safety regulations to ensure food safety standards are met.

Requirement

  • Educational Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience Level: Less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficient in mise-en-place, stewarding, and kitchen hygiene; strong self-starter with a customer-oriented approach; effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen; assist in food preparation; ensure proper food storage and health standards.
  • Working Conditions: Fast-paced kitchen environment; may require standing for long periods and lifting heavy items.
  • Qualities and Traits: Detail-oriented, reliable, team player with a positive attitude.
