Description

Job Title: Hotel Supervisor

Reports to: Assistant Manager or General Manager


Job Summary:

Responsible for overseeing hotel operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of quality. Supervises and coordinates front desk, housekeeping, and other hotel staff to achieve excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:


Front Desk Operations:

  • Supervise front desk staff
  • Ensure efficient check-in/check-out processes
  • Handle guest complaints and feedback


Housekeeping:

  • Oversee housekeeping staff
  • Ensure clean, well-maintained rooms and public areas
  • Coordinate linen and amenity replenishment


Customer Service:

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve issues


Staff Management:

  • Supervise, train, and develop hotel staff
  • Foster positive work environment


Quality Control:

  • Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas
  • Ensure compliance with hotel standards and policies


Administrative Tasks:

  • Manage hotel reports, records, and documentation
  • Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, food and beverage)


Specific Tasks:

  1. Monitor front desk operations and resolve issues
  2. Conduct room inspections and provide feedback
  3. Coordinate staff schedules and assignments
  4. Handle guest complaints and feedback
  5. Implement hotel policies and procedures
  6. Maintain accurate records and reports
  7. Participate in training and development programs



Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  2. 2-3 years of experience in hotel operations or supervision
  3. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  4. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
  5. Proficient in hotel management software (e.g., PMS, CRS)
  6. Knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and standards
