Description

The Hotel Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing staff, and driving financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality.



Guest Services:

  • Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized service.
  • Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.


Operations Management:

  • Oversee daily hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, and food & beverage services.
  • Monitor and manage hotel performance metrics, including occupancy rates, revenue, and guest satisfaction scores.


Staff Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise hotel staff, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development.


Financial Management:

  • Prepare and manage the hotel budget, forecast revenue, and control costs.
  • Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to maximize profitability.


Sales and Marketing:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and increase market visibility.
  • Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to drive group bookings and partnerships.


Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the property.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement necessary improvements.


Community Engagement:

  • Represent the hotel in community events and networking opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with local vendors and service providers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in hotel management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and forecasting.
