Assist management with HR- related concerns by identifying problem areas, suggesting fixes and carrying out those fixes promptly. )e.g recruitment, development, compensation and benefits, staff relations, statutory compliance and communications) and supporting the HR plan’s accomplishment.
Ensure all members of management apply all policies and regulations in a consistent manner by performing periodic audits of employee related actions.
Manage the recruitment process for all hiring, for both internal and external job postings, in consultation with the management team; provide on-boarding and orientations as required; devise retention strategies for all employees and complete exit interviews.
Ensure all governmental and regulatory requirements are met by maintaining accurate records, submit all reports in a timely manner and insisting that all employees follow the required legal guidelines without deviation.
Oversee the leadership development and performance management procedures across the facilities.
Ensure planning, monitoring and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees.
Maintain the work structure by updating job descriptions for all positions.
Create, revise, and develop policies and procedures as necessary and ensure that all communications surrounding these policies are clear and documented.
Manage and administer the attendance management program.
Work closely with Payroll & Benefits to ensure compliance with all payroll and benefits related issues.
Perform any other duties or participate in special projects as assigned.
Define annual operating plans and budgets for the HR function and an annual HR plan for the business.
Participate in business decision making as part of the senior management team.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus).
7 to 10 years of progressively responsible HR experience, including managerial roles.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven leadership abilities and experience managing an HR team.
Ethical conduct and a high level of confidentiality.
Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Ability to adapt to changing business environments and evolving HR trends.
