Description

As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for handling various human resources functions and providing essential support to both employees and management. Your role will include:

  • Employee Relations: Address employee concerns and grievances, foster a positive workplace culture, and ensure open lines of communication between staff and management.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Manage payroll processes, ensure accurate and timely salary payments, and administer employee benefits programs.
  • Disciplinary Actions: Handle employee disciplinary processes by ensuring compliance with company policies, documenting incidents, and conducting investigations.
  • Performance Reviews: Coordinate performance evaluations, provide feedback to managers and employees, and help develop improvement plans where necessary.
  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Assist in recruiting and onboarding new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Training & Development: Organize and manage employee development programs, identifying training needs, and enhancing employee skills.
  • HR Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws and company policies, and maintain up-to-date records of employee contracts, documentation, and legal requirements.
  • Policy Development & Implementation: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives.
  • Support to Administrative Operations Manager: Collaborate with the Administrative Operations Manager by providing HR support for operational needs, including staffing, compliance, and organizational development.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience Level: At least 3-5 years of experience in Employee Relations or a similar role in human resources.
  • Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in recruiting, HRIS, knowledge of payroll processes, experience with compensation and benefits, strong written and verbal communication skills, adept in presentation, and excellent overall communication abilities. Ability to manage people, conduct training and development initiatives.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Manage employee relations, handle grievances and conflicts, develop strategies to improve employee satisfaction, ensure HR policies align with regulations, assist in talent acquisition and retention, and oversee employee development programs.
  • Working Conditions: Office setting, with regular business hours; may require occasional travel for conferences or training seminars.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, empathy, ethical conduct, and a proactive attitude in addressing workplace issues.
