Description

The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all aspects of the dealership's sales and marketing operations. This includes setting sales targets, managing the sales and marketing teams, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the entire customer journey.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve dealership targets.
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and supervise both the sales and marketing teams.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching for both sales and marketing personnel.
  • Manage customer relationships, addressing concerns, and resolving issues related to sales and marketing interactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., finance, service) to ensure smooth operations and alignment with sales and marketing goals.
  • Analyze sales and marketing data, identifying trends, and adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels (e.g., digital, print, events).
  • Manage the dealership's online presence, including website and social media, in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Ensure that marketing efforts effectively support sales goals and contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Requirements

  • Graduate of a Bachelor’s/College degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive sales, with at least 2 years in a management role.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite or Google Suite.
