1. Food Preparation

• Prepare ingredients for menu items, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
• Follow recipes accurately, ensuring proper portioning and consistency.
• Assist in cooking and plating dishes, maintaining quality and presentation standards.

2. Kitchen Support

• Assist the Head Cook and kitchen staff with various tasks, including frying, grilling, baking, and boiling as required.
• Ensure that ingredients and kitchen supplies are always readily available.
• Report any inventory shortages to the Head Cook or Kitchen Manager.

3. Sanitation and Cleanliness

• Maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas, including counters, floors, and cooking stations.
• Wash and sanitize utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a clean and sanitary work environment.

4. Inventory Management

• Assist in receiving and storing inventory, ensuring that all products are properly organized and rotated.
• Keep track of food waste and help in minimizing waste through proper preparation and storage techniques.

5. Collaboration and Teamwork

• Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Communicate any issues or needs to the Head Cook or Kitchen Manager promptly.

6. Customer Service Support

• Assist with special requests or dietary accommodations as instructed by the Head Cook.
• Ensure that all dishes meet presentation standards before serving to customers.

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Basic knife skills, ability to follow recipes and instructions, and strong time management skills.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
• Physical Ability: Able to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and work in a fast-paced environment.
