The main responsibilities of a SENIOR RESEARCH ASSOCIATE include:

• We are looking for a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Research Associate to join our dynamic research team in Manila.
• Responsibilities include conducting corporate governance research on publicly listed companies in the assigned region(s), and drafting recommendations for institutional investors on voting at portfolio companies' shareholder meetings.
• Research tasks involve reviewing publicly disclosed information such as stock exchange announcements, annual reports, notices of meetings, company press releases, and news articles to collect governance-related data.
• Under the close supervision of the team’s analysts, you will analyze each company’s governance practices using a policy-based framework of market best practices.
• The primary focus will be on analyzing board structures and executive remuneration packages within the assigned companies.
• This role requires an ability to read between the lines and identify what is not being disclosed as much as what is.
• The role involves limited quantitative analysis but requires strong qualitative judgment.
• This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Makati City, requiring some regular office attendance.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FUNCTIONS 

1. Develops new products as required by the company that will impact the company’s profitability.
2. Records all trial results. (e.g., product/process proposal specifications; documentation of recipes, formulation, etc.)
3. Conducts sensory evaluation of new and existing products.
4. Evaluates existing product and processes and recommends improvements and new techniques for innovations based on the current trends.    
5. Supports and/or executes all or parts of exploration/conceptualization as well as the creative process to discover new and/or further develop existing technology with direct supervision by the R&D Manager. Must be aware of general areas of application of other technical disciplines.
6. Works closely with Production Specialist and Quality Assurance Team to ensure that correct process and parameters are being undertaken and fully implemented in the Plant.
7. Helps on the design and development of new product development, product & process improvement, cost optimization and product maintenance initiatives.
8. Recommends processes and systems used within new product development programs.
9. Prepares yield computation.
10. Responsible for completing technical reports / presentations of various R&D activities to the direct superior.
11. Determines and recommends product usage information including serving suggestions, cooking instructions, nutritional information, and possible product claims.
12. Prepares competitive monitoring report and make necessary conclusions and recommendations.
13. Conducts regular New Product Presentations to the management and Panelists.
14. Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.

FOOD SAFETY & SANITATION

1. Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.

DOCUMENTATION & REGULATORY COMPLIANCE 

1. Monitors government regulations to ensure label and formulation compliance.
2. Collaborates with QA Team in the preparations and compliance on all documents as required by FDA, NMIS and other Institutions as may be required by the Government. 
3. Provides product labeling information and prepares the necessary documentation to aid government approval process.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly & annual schedules and BIR Returns
• Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Other Management reports
