Early childhood education teachers, also known as preschool teachers, care for and educate children from infancy to around 12 years old. Their responsibilities include:
- Curriculum: Planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and education programs
- Classroom environment: Preparing the classroom setting and ensuring it's safe and clean
- Teaching: Teaching basic fundamentals like numbers, shapes, and colors, and helping children build social skills
- Activities: Providing activities that encourage curiosity, exploration, and problem solving
- Assessments: Writing and compiling individual assessments of each child's development
- Communication: Interacting with parents and community groups to encourage their involvement and support the child's family relationships
- Research: Participating in research programs to improve early childhood teaching methods
Preschool Teacher
- Instruct students in basic academic subjects and foster a positive learning environment.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards.
- Assess and evaluate student performance and progress.

- Curriculum Development:

- Assessment and Observation:
- Observe and assess children’s progress and development.

- Classroom Management:
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom environment.
- Establish and enforce rules and routines to promote positive behavior.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with other educators, staff, and families to support children’s learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
- Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of children's attendance, behavior, and developmental milestones.
