Description

Modularity Home Inc., a leading wholesale distributor specializing in innovative home solutions, is seeking a Purchasing Assistant. The ideal candidate will support procurement processes, assist with vendor management, and maintain inventory records.
  • Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating product quality.
  • Process purchase orders and track deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and reporting.
  • Collaborate with sales and logistics teams.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience Level: 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or related roles.
  • Skills and Competencies: Strong negotiation, project coordination, and inventory management skills; adept in problem-solving and business operations.
  • Responsibilities and Duties: Assist in purchasing decisions, manage inventory levels, coordinate projects, and negotiate with suppliers.
  • Working Conditions: Office environment, with occasional fieldwork to assess vendor capabilities.
  • Qualities and Traits: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate with team members effectively.
