Description
- Overall responsibility for management of Acclime’s debtor ledger and achievement of DSO targets
- Develop and monitor a Group-wide credit control system in collaboration with Group Finance
- Management of junior credit team members
- Liaison with Acclime Country Heads, Partners and Managers to understand collections issues and execute improvement strategies
- Input into payment terms for Acclime business units
- Train local accounts staff on debt collection policies, procedures and strategies
- Ensuring the timely collection of receivables across the group
- Negotiate payment plans with clients and agree terms and conditions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records, including clients’ files.
- Conduct regular analysis of Acclime’s credit-control system and implement changes as needed
- Escalate any payment issues to the appropriate teams for action
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in AR / credit management, preferably operating across business units in multiple jurisdictions
- CPA or equivalent qualifications will be highly regarded
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written. Additional Asian language capability will be highly regarded.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and cultivate relationships
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, unsupervised and independent capacity.
- Must be comfortable working across a range of different time zones
