Description

About the Role:

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Business Development Associate to join our growing team. This role will give you the opportunity to enhance your presentation skills, improve your ability to communicate technical functions and features, and present to real clients in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and driving the company’s growth.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting: Assist the Sales Team in identifying and targeting suitable and potential clients for Collo through online research, events, and offline opportunities.
  • Client Introductions: Introduce Collo to potential clients and schedule product demos with decision-makers (such as property managers, owners, admin heads, and IT teams).
  • Demonstrations & Client Queries: Give full product demos to potential clients and answer all questions regarding the platform's technical features and pricing (with support from the core team, including Darchie, Mikee, Mikko, and Jay).
  • Meeting Documentation: Create meeting minutes and provide feedback from client discussions to the tech and core team for continuous product improvement.
  • CRM & Reporting: Maintain and update the Collo Client Tracker and prepare sales reports regularly.
  • Strategy & Brainstorming: Collaborate with the marketing agency and sales team for brainstorming and planning online sales strategies.
  • Field Work: Participate in fieldwork with the core team to meet clients in person and gather real-time feedback.
  • Client Inquiries: Handle and respond to online inquiries from potential clients and partners in a timely manner.

  • Receive hands-on guidance and support from experienced team members while developing your skills in client management, technical presentations, and sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to confidently present technical information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple clients and tasks.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different teams (sales, marketing, tech) and adapt to a dynamic business environment.
  • Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in business development and sales.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B sales or business development is a plus.
  • Understanding of the real estate or property management industry is an advantage.
  • Previous experience in conducting client meetings or demos is preferred.
