Description

Warmly greet customers, take detailed orders, and answer questions regarding menu items.
Prepare and serve beverages, including various types of coffee and tea following set recipes and presentation standards.
Operate and maintain coffee equipment while ensuring the café area is tidy, clean, and inviting.
Process transactions accurately and handle cash and card payments.

Requirements

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must hold at least a Diploma degree from a recognized institution.
Experience Level: Applicants should have 1-3 years of experience working as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Skills and Competencies:
Proficiency in attention to detail to ensure each cup of coffee meets high-quality standards.
Expertise in latte art and an extensive knowledge of coffee varieties and brewing techniques.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
Demonstrated customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment.
Capability in upselling products and promoting new offerings.
Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with a diverse set of customers.
Responsibilities and Duties: Prepare and serve beverages according to the establishment's recipes and standards, maintain cleanliness of the work area, take orders and process payments, manage inventory of supplies, and contribute to a positive team environment.
Working Conditions: The role may involve early mornings, weekends, and/or holiday shifts in a fast-paced environment. The ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights is necessary.
Qualities and Traits: Ideal candidates will be passionate about coffee, energetic, adaptable, reliable, and have a customer-focused approach to their work.
