Description

  • The Sales Account Executive will be responsible for generating sales, managing client relationships, and growing market share within the wines and spirits industry.
  • This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, identifying new business opportunities, and maintaining a strong presence in the market.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell wines and spirits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including retailers, restaurants, bars, distributors, and wholesalers.
  • Regularly meet with clients to understand their needs, offer product solutions, and provide education on the wines and spirits portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and industry research.
  • Present product portfolios to customers and potential clients through tastings, presentations, and events.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for assigned territories to increase market penetration.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotional deals, and contract terms with clients to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management, detailing performance against targets and market conditions.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador for wines and spirits, representing the company at trade shows, events, and industry gatherings.

Requirement

  • Graduate of any 4-year course, qualified in a business-related field.
  • Strong knowledge of wines and spirits, with certifications such as WSET or Sommelier being a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Availability to travel within the assigned territory as required.
