Position Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive with experience in the international freight forwarding industry. As a Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets. You will work closely with the sales team and other key stakeholders to develop effective strategies and ensure customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

1. Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the international freight forwarding market.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential clients and market trends.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
  • Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and participate in trade shows or industry events.

2. Client Relationship Management:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Understand clients' logistics requirements and provide them with tailored solutions.
  • Conduct regular client visits and presentations to showcase company capabilities and services.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

3. Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Meet or exceed sales targets by actively pursuing and closing sales opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients.
  • Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to secure profitable deals.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify business opportunities.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team.

4. Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including operations, customer service, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Foster positive working relationships with overseas agents and partners to enhance service capabilities and expand market reach.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations, compliance requirements, and international trade practices.

Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive in the international freight forwarding industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of international logistics, freight forwarding, and supply chain management, minimum two (2) years experience
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and MS Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
