Summary: We are looking for an experienced and reliable Assistant Cook to join our commissary team. The Assistant Cook will support the preparation, cooking, portioning, and proper handling of food while maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking
• Follow standardized recipes and proper food portions
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and equipment
• Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
• Assist in inventory and preparation of ingredients
• Follow food safety and quality standards
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least Senior High School graduate
• At least 5 years experience in the food industry
• Preferably with Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage Services, or related course/certification
• Experience in commissary or kitchen operations is an advantage
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety
• Able to follow recipes, instructions, and standard procedures
• Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Responsible, hardworking, and a good team player
