Role summary

We are looking for a high-performing Key Accounts Specialist to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. He/she will be responsible for developing and implementing specific key accounts plans.


Scope of the role

  • Develop sound channel and account plans to achieve business objectives
  • Service new and existing key account requirements and build strong business relationships with its key personnel
  • Build and maintain the company’s retail presence
  • Facilities achievement of sales targets


Key activities

End-to-end key account management:

  • Growing existing account partnerships
  • Building new partnerships
  • Optimizing in-store presence
  • Monitoring and driving sales performance
  • Building, monitoring, and executing against sales KPIs

Requirement

  • Company and customer expertise One of the primary goals of key account management is to nurture strategic relationships with top accounts, so he/she must possess an in-depth knowledge of the company and its customers. This expertise should allow them to identify the best opportunities for growth and service to the client.
  • Strategic perspective -to have a strategic perspective that goes beyond short-term gains. He/she must be able to juggle many moving parts and orchestrate deals and long-term plans that align with a mutually beneficial strategy.
  • Skilled negotiation- to build the lifetime value of the company’s customers and do so to achieve win-win situations for both the company and its customers.
  • Value-based selling - Ability to communicate the value of company’s offerings both strategically and financially to its customers.


Position’s requirements

  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • With at least 5 years sales experience
  • With at least 2 years experience in FMCG, particularly in Key Account Management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
