Key Responsibilities

Technical Support

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist end-users with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of devices (desktops, laptops, printers, etc.).
• Document and track support requests using a ticketing system.

System Maintenance and Monitoring

• Monitor IT systems and networks to ensure performance and security.
• Perform routine maintenance, updates, and patches on software and hardware.
• Assist in the installation and configuration of IT equipment and software applications.

Network Management

• Support the management of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
• Ensure network connectivity and performance through monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Assist in maintaining firewall and security systems.

User Account Management

• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts and permissions across various systems.
• Conduct regular audits of accounts to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Assist users with password resets and account access issues.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
• Assist in the creation of user manuals and training materials for IT systems.
• Generate reports on IT support activities and system performance as needed.

Collaboration and Training

• Work closely with the IT team to implement new technologies and systems.
• Provide training and support to end-users on software applications and best practices.
• Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.

Project Support

• Participate in IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure technology solutions meet organizational needs.
• Provide input and suggestions for improving IT services and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in IT support or related role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
