Description
Hepmil Philippines is looking for a highly skilled and proactive Technology Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the office staff by implementing automation solutions, resolving technical issues, and ensuring the efficient use of modern technology tools throughout the workplace. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in technical support and the ability to train employees in using new tools, including project management platforms and office technologies.
Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Provide day-to-day technical support to office staff, assisting with hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Respond to user-reported issues in a timely manner, ensuring minimal disruption to office productivity.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems related to office equipment (e.g., computers, printers, and phones).
Office Automation and Workflow Optimization
Lead the implementation and support of office automation tools to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate with department heads to identify repetitive tasks and recommend appropriate automation solutions.
Customize and configure automation platforms to fit the unique needs of the office environment.
Continuously monitor automation tools to ensure proper functionality and resolve any performance issues.
End-User Training and Support
Conduct training sessions and create documentation to help staff effectively use new technologies, project management tools, and automation solutions.
Serve as the primary point of contact for user inquiries about technology usage and best practices.
Provide ongoing support to staff, answering questions and resolving technical issues as they arise.
Systems and Network Maintenance
Manage and maintain office hardware, including desktops, laptops, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the network is operating securely and efficiently.
Assist with system upgrades, installations, and configurations, ensuring minimal downtime for office operations.
Collaboration and Communication
Work closely with the regional team to ensure smooth implementation of new technologies and processes.
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers as needed for hardware and software solutions.
Communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff in a clear and accessible manner.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Technology Support Specialist, IT Help Desk Technician, or similar role.
Strong knowledge of office automation tools (e.g., Zapier) and experience implementing workflow automation.
Familiarity with modern project management tools
Proficiency with Windows and macOS operating systems.
Experience with network troubleshooting and systems maintenance.
Ability to train and support end users with various levels of technical knowledge.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
Experience in an office environment, supporting teams in a technology-driven role.
Familiarity with cloud-based tools and collaboration platforms such as Google Workspace and Slack.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred but not required.
