The Role:

We are seeking a versatile Digital Copywriter with exceptional writing and editing skills to join our social media team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating compelling content that engages our target audience and builds our brands across various social media channels, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube. The ideal candidate should be adept at crafting persuasive narratives and distilling complex topics into engaging, easily digestible content. 

Responsibilities include:  

• Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop social media posts (focus on short-form content and videos) that sparks interest and interaction from the target audience.
• Ideate, write, review, and edit quality content, turning business interests and medical insights into compelling narratives and digestible visuals.
• Conduct SEO research, cross-referencing and verification with internal stakeholders and/or subject experts to ensure factual accuracy of published content.
• Ensure all copy adheres to established brand voice, tone and guidelines.
• Analyse data to assess content performance and shape strategies to optimize engagement.
• Keep up to date on trends in social media and current news, particularly in Singapore, to infuse copy with relevant references.

Skills & Experience required: 

• Diploma or degree in Mass Communication, English, Journalism, Public Relations or related Communications field
• Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience working in social media and/or digital media/marketing
• Hands-on experience using and creating content for multiple social media platforms
• Experience filming and creating short-form videos is desired, but not required
• Passionate about content creation and delivering quality, insightful posts that provide genuine value for our audiences
• Basic working knowledge of creative tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe suite) that can produce engaging, easy-to-understand graphics and images for social media
• Familiarity with Singapore’s cultural nuances and awareness of current affairs is a key advantage
• Understanding of medical terminology is a plus
• Proficiency in English is a must
• Keen eye for accuracy and detail
• Self-motivated team player, with the ability to adapt quickly and work efficiently within tight timelines.
