Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors closely the pre-alerts of incoming shipments of Epson Precision accounts and notify customers, terminal offices and sales.
- Follow-up advance copy of shipping documents from KACP origin station or other forwarders for non-KACP consol shipments.
- Forwards advance copy of shipping documents by e-mail to terminal offices/subcon broker/consignee for EIP application.
- Sends request for inclusion in LOI to clients & follow-up approval of EIP if tagged as regulated or controlled.
- Encodes shipping details on the Request for Release if shipments are scheduled either for Frontdoor or Backdoor Release and forward such copy to Road Transport Department and subcon broker.
- Checks actual arrival of shipments from airlines concerned on a regular basis.
- Requests subcon broker to pick-up original shipping documents from other consolidators where KWE is the nominated customs broker and ensures that the advance copy and / or original copy are received by subcontractor whether under KWE or outside consolidation.
- Prepares request for payment for Customs Duty and Tax, Freight Collect Shipments or Cash Advances if applicable.
- Monitors customs clearance and delivery of shipments and ensures that the required TPT are being met and update customers/sales/terminal offices on the status of shipments by phone and e-mail.
- Checks CCR daily.
- Encodes shipment milestones in UFS.
- Acts as reliever in the absence of other Import Clerk & Import Assistant.
- Perform other duties as maybe assigned from time to time.
Requirement
- BS Customs Administration or any other 4 year related course.
- With at least 1-2 years experience gained from Freight Forwarding or Brokerage Company.
- With good oral and written communication skills.
- Computer Literate, particularly in Basic Window Operating System such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Gmail.
- Must be a motorized.
