ROLE: CONSTRUCTION SAFETY OFFICER 2 (SO2)
Work Schedule:
Monday to Saturday
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Qualifications:
- Certified Construction Safety Officer 2 (SO2)
- Open to all genders
- With or without relevant work experience
- Fresh SO2 certificate holders are encouraged to apply
- Knowledgeable in occupational safety and health standards
- Familiar with construction site safety protocols and risk assessment
- Strong communication, leadership, and reporting skills
- Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor occupational safety and health programs on-site
- Conduct daily safety inspections and hazard assessments
- Ensure compliance with DOLE Occupational Safety and Health Standards
- Conduct toolbox meetings and safety orientations for workers
- Monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-miss events
- Prepare and submit safety reports and documentation
- Coordinate with project management regarding safety concerns and corrective actions
- Promote a culture of safety awareness among workers and site personnel
- Perform other safety-related duties as assigned by management
