Key Responsibilities:
1. Accurate Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, which encompass accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and revenue.
2. Invoicing and Billing Management: Create client invoices with precision and promptness, and actively track and follow up on outstanding client payments.
3. Expense Oversight: Examine and process employee expense claims and vendor invoices, ensuring strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
4. Bank Account Reconciliation: Regularly perform bank reconciliations to guarantee that all financial transactions are appropriately recorded, and any discrepancies are resolved.
5. Financial Reporting: Generate periodic financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Provide accurate and timely financial data to support management decision-making.
6. Budget Supervision: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets. Keep tabs on actual performance versus budgeted figures and offer insights into areas of deviation.
7. Payroll Administration: Collaborate closely with the HR department to ensure the accurate and punctual processing of payroll. Deduct and remit taxes, benefits, and other deductions as mandated.
8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and legal obligations. Contribute to the preparation of financial statements for audits.
9. Financial Analysis: Scrutinize financial data to detect trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and pinpoint areas for enhancement in the agency's financial procedures.
10. Process and System Enhancement: Continually seek ways to improve the efficiency of financial processes, including exploring the utilization of accounting software and automation tools.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Amenable to work onsite in Paranaque City
