Description

  1. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department (revenue, expenditures, fixed assets, inventory, and reporting cycles)
  2. Prepare the annual financial statements with notes
  3. Compute, prepare, and file the BIR returns
  4. Reconcile capital assets and bank accounts
  5. Prepare the weekly and monthly management reports (cash forecast, yearly budget, monthly FS, cash flow management)
  6. Reconcile any prior year reports and account balances
  7. Handle BIR assessments with supervision of Group Finance Head
  8. Responsible in the renewal of business permits and local govt. regulations and requirements
  9. Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
  10. Create, improve, implement, and monitor the accounting policies and procedures
  11. Lead and direct staff to provide accurate output and meet department objectives; take over on assigned tasks to staff when needed.
  12. Provide training and coaching to staff

Requirement

[ Technical Requirements]

  • Can work on a regular work schedule on a daily onsite work arrangement in Ayala, Makati
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) only
  • With 8 - 10 years in general accounting, finance, and local taxation
  • At least 5 years in supervisory or managerial role 
  • Well versed in local tax compliance and filing (VAT, EWT, CWT, ITR, BIR EFPS, and e-BIR)
  • Skilled in SEC, BIR, and local government compliance, regulations, and requirements
  • Proven knowledge in PFRS, corporate and tax laws (i.e.. revised corporate code, TRAIN law, CREATE law) 
  • Relevant experience in using Xero accounting software 
  • Adept in MS Office particularly on MS Excel functions and formulas
  • Strong communication skills and has good command in the English language
