We are seeking an experienced Commis Japanese. This position comes with service charge, free meals, and tips.

What you'll be doing

1. Preparing and cooking Japanese dishes according to established recipes and culinary standards
2. Assisting senior chefs in food preparation, including cutting, slicing and presenting ingredients
3. Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your assigned workstation and kitchen areas
4. Following food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure the highest standards of food preparation
5. Supporting the kitchen team during service, responding promptly to orders and requests
6. Learning and applying proper Japanese cooking methods, seasonings and presentation techniques
7. Assisting with stock management and inventory of ingredients used in Japanese cuisine
8. Contributing ideas and enthusiasm to enhance the quality of dishes and guest experience
