Coding Supervisor - Inpatient

We are looking for an experienced Coding Supervisor – Inpatient to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong inpatient procedural coding experience and proven experience in handling and leading a team in a healthcare or medical coding environment.

Qualifications:

• Must have any active Coding Certification (CPC, CCS, CIC, or equivalent)

• Solid experience in inpatient procedural coding

• Experience in handling, supervising, or managing a coding team is required

• Strong understanding of coding guidelines, compliance, and quality standards

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to mentor, coach, and support team performance and development

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily operations of the inpatient coding team

• Monitor coding accuracy, productivity, and quality performance

• Provide coaching, feedback, and performance support to team members

• Ensure compliance with coding standards, client requirements, and turnaround times

• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address operational concerns and process improvements

• Support training initiatives and continuous development within the team
