URGENT HIRING PHILIPPINES based ONLY

We’re excited to share an opportunity to join our team as a Medical Coder – Inpatient DRG (IPDRG) based in Taguig, Philippines (Day Shift). In this role, you’ll leverage your expertise in inpatient coding to ensure accurate MS-DRG and APR DRG assignments, identify HACs and PSIs, and support hospital reimbursement integrity.

What you’ll do:

- Review inpatient health records and assign ICD codes, MS-DRGs, APR DRGs, POA, SOI & ROM indicators.

- Collaborate with physicians and HIM teams to clarify documentation and resolve billing/claims issues.

- Maintain compliance with AHIMA standards, HIPAA regulations, and coding quality benchmarks.

What we’re looking for:

- At least 2 years of inpatient DRG coding experience.

- Bachelor’s degree in an allied health field.

- Active CCS, CIC, or CDIP certification.

- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and strong communication skills.

Preferred: RN licensure (PHRN/USRN), encoder software experience (3M/Solventum, Encoder Pro, Codify), and prior US healthcare exposure.

- DRG accuracy rate ≥ 95%

- Coding accuracy ≥ 95%

- 100% query compliance with AHIMA/ACDIS standards
