Description

• Review and analyze medical records for accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures.
• Utilize coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS for proper documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and privacy laws.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify ambiguous documentation.
• Stay updated on changes in coding standards and regulations.

Requirements

• Active PHRN and USRN License
• At least 2 years of bedside experience
• At least 1-2 years of hospital coding experience
• One or more: CDIP, CPC, CCS (IP/OP), CIC, CCDS
