This position is responsible for upholding a secure work environment for all employees by establishing and maintaining a safety excellence culture and safeguarding compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This comprises developing and implementing comprehensive and effective safety policies, procedures, and training programs and ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations.

(Non-Negotiable):

• With at least 2 years of experience in the related field and position level.
• College graduate. Acquired training/tenure equivalent to Safety Officer 3 per OSH Law, preferably a DOLE-accredited Safety Practitioner
• Undergone Basic Occupational Safety Health (BOSH) course (40 hrs)

Competencies required:

• Proficiency in safety auditing, inspection, and identifying hazards.
• Well-versed in creating emergency response plans tailored to various scenarios.
• Familiar with compliance with OSH standards and other relevant safety regulations.
• In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Expertise in using, and maintaining safety equipment like fire extinguishers, eye protection, and hazardous material protection.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Attention to detail and the ability to enforce safety procedures and protocols.
• Knowledge of emergency response and crisis management.
• Experience in managing safety in diverse work environments.
• Proficient in first-aid techniques.
• Efficient in project management handling projects and initiatives.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data processing programs.
• Has a valid driver's license. Can drive both automatic and manual transmission - 4-wheel vehicles and motorcycles.
