GENERAL FUNCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT

The Center of Excellence department serves as a hub for cybersecurity consulting services. Its function involves providing expert guidance to clients on fortifying their cybersecurity posture. Consultants conduct vulnerability assessments, develop security strategies, and deliver training. They stay updated on threats, adopt industry standards, and coordinate with teams to ensure project delivery. Additionally, they engage with clients to understand their needs, propose tailored solutions, and contribute to business plans for security offerings.

GENERAL FUNCTION OF THE POSITION

As a Solutions Architect, you'll wear multiple hats to safeguard our clients' digital landscape. You'll leverage your technical knowledge to identify security vulnerabilities and craft effective solutions alongside security architects. By collaborating with clients, you'll educate them on best practices and deliver security awareness training, empowering them to make informed decisions. You'll also partner with the sales team to understand client needs and tailor solutions, while ensuring accurate proposals and on-time project delivery. Ultimately, you'll be a trusted advisor, bringing technical expertise and client focus together to fortify their cybersecurity posture.

STATEMENT OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (covering Knowledge and Skills, Problem Solving and Accountability)

• Act as the technical lead for key network and cybersecurity projects, serving as the primary technical expert.
• Design and manage the entire solution lifecycle from conception through delivery.
• Communicate Netrust’s solution value proposition effectively to customers and collaborate with Product Management and Sales teams to drive opportunities.
• Manage all pre-sales activities, including customer influencing, Proof of Concept (POC) requirements, RFQ/Tender responses, and final solution documentation.
• Develop and lead the creation of Netrust’s unique value propositions and solution blueprints.
• Design and assemble solutions and tools for POC and demonstration purposes.
• Oversee and guide the Presales Team to ensure effective support and coordination.
• Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends, ensuring adaptability of existing and future service architectures.
• Assess and compare various security solutions in the market to enhance Netrust’s service offerings.
• Conduct assessments, penetration tests, and security audits to identify and address weaknesses in clients' systems and networks.
• Collaborate with clients and security architects to develop and implement effective security strategies and solutions.
• Implement standards like ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls as needed.
• Meet clients to discuss security measures, explain solutions, and provide training.
• Propose enhancements to existing security systems and conduct cybersecurity table-top exercises.
• Contribute to RFPs and bid documents, ensuring technical accuracy and completeness.
• Create and promote new products and services based on client insights.
• Develop relationships with clients, vendors, and manufacturers to enhance service offerings.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH) preferred.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity, including 4+ years in a solutions architect role. Strong background in designing and managing complex security solutions.
• Expertise in security technologies (firewalls, IDPS, SIEM, cloud security) and compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent certifications preferred.
