Description

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to be part of our growing team. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies. You will work closely with marketing teams and stakeholders to enhance the online presence of Expo Centric. Your role will be crucial in maximising the impact of our brand through various social media platforms.


Responsibilities:


Social Media Strategy:

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies tailored to each event's goals and target audience.

• Align social media initiatives with overall marketing and event objectives to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency.

• Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to incorporate innovative tactics.


Content Creation:

• Create engaging, relevant, and visually appealing social media content (including text, images, videos, and infographics) to attract the audience's attention.

• Update social media content across all channels

• Collaborate with the design and content teams to ensure the event's branding and messaging are well-represented in social media posts.


Social Media Management:

• Manage and administer social media accounts for the events on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and any other relevant channels.

• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and mentions, and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.

• Schedule and publish posts, ensuring a consistent posting schedule to maintain audience interest


Social Media Advertising:

• Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to drive event awareness, ticket sales, and registrations.

• Monitor ad performance, optimize campaigns, and report on the effectiveness of social media advertising efforts.


Analytics and Reporting:

• Track and analyse key social media metrics to assess the success of campaigns and make data-driven decisions for future improvements.

• Prepare regular reports detailing social media performance and insights for event organizers and stakeholders.

• Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics


Crisis Management:

• Be prepared to handle potential social media crises or negative feedback professionally and with a swift response.


Community Management:

• Manage and grow the social media communities by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and fostering meaningful interactions.


Cross-functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with the marketing team, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure social media efforts align with overall marketing and event objectives.

Requirement

  • Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, internet marketing or related field.
  • 5+ years of proven experience as Social Media Manager for international markets.
  • Proficiency in using various social media platforms and social media management tools.
  • Demonstrated creativity in content creation, copywriting, and storytelling.
  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and metrics to measure campaign effectiveness.
  • Knowledge of best practices for social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling content and interact with diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
