DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


Job Analysis

  • Collaborates with hiring managers to define job requirements, key skills, and responsibilities.
  • Develops and updates job descriptions and person specifications.
  • Candidate Sourcing
  • Reviews and ensures completeness of Manpower Requisition Forms before endorsing to the Department Head for action.
  • Sources candidates using various recruitment methods within the standard time frame.
  • Builds a pool of qualified candidates in advance of hiring needs.
  • Drafts and posts job advertisements on internal and external job portals.
  • Organizes internal recruitment activities.
  • Participates in external recruitment events to promote the company and attract candidates.
  • Maintains an active recruitment network through industry contacts, trade groups, associations, and government agencies.
  • Candidate Assessment
  • Assists or monitors HR Assistants in screening resumes and in conducting initial interviews with suitable candidates.
  • Ensures that interviews between candidates and the requesting department are coordinated.


Job Offer and Negotiation

  • Review job offers to selected candidates and negotiate salary, benefits, and terms of employment. Ensure a smooth transition and onboarding process for new hires.
  • Strategy and Reporting
  • Researches current recruitment trends to improve the effectiveness of recruitment campaigns. Tracks the status of applicants throughout the recruitment process.
  • Prepares and submits reports, including:
  1. Weekly Manpower Requisition (MR) Status Report
  2. Memo on newly hired employees
  3. List of newly hired employees for payroll or training
  4. Monthly Attrition and Exit Interview Report
  5. Terminal Report for Job Fairs


Collaboration

  • Responds to inquiries from applicants, employees, and officers regarding recruitment processes.
  • Partner with HR teams and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and develop hiring strategies.
  • Provide support and advice on workforce planning, succession planning, and employee retention.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned by the Immediate Superior or Department Head.

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS/AB Psychology, Human Resource Management, Behavioral Science or other related course Proven experience as a Recruitment Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role
  • Preferably with relevant experience in volume recruiting.
  • Has good Communication Skills and Interviewing Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing techniques, and talent management.
  • Strong interviewing, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple hiring processes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Keen to details and timelines/deadlines
