Sign Fabrication & Assembly:

• Read and interpret blueprints, design files, or digital models to fabricate signs as per specifications.
• Utilize materials such as metal, acrylic, vinyl, plastic, and wood to produce signs.
• Operate tools and equipment like CNC routers, laser cutters, saws, drills, and welding machines to create sign components.
• Cut, shape, and assemble signs, including both illuminated and non-illuminated varieties.

Installation Preparation:

• Prepare finished signs for installation, ensuring proper finishing touches, mounting hardware, and secure packaging.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure signs are produced to fit the designated environment or installation site.

Material Handling & Maintenance:

• Select appropriate materials according to project requirements and client preferences.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and the workspace to ensure proper working conditions and safety standards.
• Perform regular maintenance on fabrication equipment to ensure consistent operation.

Quality Control:

• Inspect completed signs to ensure they meet accuracy, quality, and design standards.
• Verify that signage is free of defects, properly assembled, and adheres to safety guidelines before delivery or installation.

Collaboration with Design Team:

• Work closely with designers and project managers to ensure designs are practical and feasible for fabrication.
• Provide input on design adjustments to streamline the production and installation process.

Safety & Compliance:

• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, including electrical and structural safety regulations for illuminated signs.

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in fabrication, welding, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
• At least 1 years of experience in sign fabrication or related fields such as metalworking, carpentry, or graphic design fabrication.
• Proficiency in operating tools, machinery, and materials used in sign production.
• Skills & Abilities:
• Expertise in using hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and sanders.
• Experience with CNC machines, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design files, and technical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring precision and quality in all aspects of production.
• Basic knowledge of electrical wiring for illuminated signage is an advantage.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues during fabrication.
