Design and create innovative pastry recipes to enhance the menu and meet customer preferences.
Ensure all baked goods meet food safety and quality standards.
Monitor stock levels for ingredients and manage inventory efficiently to minimize waste.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and menu consistency.
Decorate pastries using a variety of techniques, including glazing, piping, and molding.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry section and adhere to kitchen safety protocols.
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into production.

Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or relevant role in a professional kitchen.
In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
Strong creative and artistic skills for pastry decoration and design.
Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards (HACCP certification is a plus).
Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification in Pastry Arts is preferred.
Familiarity with modern pastry trends and techniques.
Strong leadership skills and ability to train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
Experience in menu planning and cost control.
