Description

Ensure the accuracy and completeness of loan applications, prepare loan files for underwriting, and communicate with borrowers and loan officers throughout the loan approval process. Must be detail-oriented, have strong analytical skills, and enjoy working with people



  • Gather and verify loan application documentation: This includes tax returns, pay stubs, bank statements, assets, salaries, debts and employment status, and other financial documents to fill in information for the loan application.
  • Evaluate credit histories and analyze credit reports and debt-to-income ratios: Assess the borrower's creditworthiness and ability to repay the loan.
  • Calculate loan payments and closing costs: Ensure all financial calculations are accurate and meet compliance regulations.
  • Communicate with borrowers and loan officers: Address any questions or concerns about the loan application process.
  • Prepare loan files for underwriting: Organize and package all required documentation for underwriter review.
  • Obtain any missing or incomplete documentation: Work with borrowers to gather any additional information needed for loan approval.
  • Track loan processing timelines: Ensure all deadlines are met to keep the loan on track for closing.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures: Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Research and correct mistakes in applications for clients
  • Review file documentation for missing or erroneous information
  • Assist Loan Officer with requests and tasks needed to complete and process applications

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in mortgage processing or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and loan processing software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Understanding of mortgage lending principles and procedures is a plus.
  • Comfortable working at our office in Ortigas
  • Generally Morning shift but should also be open to working in US shift.
