Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred: Experience in fleet management or a related field. This demonstrates understanding of vehicle maintenance within a larger operational context.

Not mandatory, but a plus: Experience working with the specific types of vehicles the motorpool uses (e.g., heavy machinery for a construction company)
