Forklift Operation

Description

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport goods and materials within the facility
  • Ensure the safe and proper operation of forklift equipment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of forklift equipment, reporting any issues or needed repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory levels
  • Collaborate with the wider team to optimise workflow and logistics processes
  • Contribute to a positive and productive work environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or similar material handling role, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics setting
  • Valid forklift operator's license or certification
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
