About the Role

The candidate will report directly to the Finance Manager and assume responsibility for all aspects of financial and management accounting, such as investor reports, variance analysis, and accounts receivables functions.


  • Manage the full spectrum of Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing, collections, and generating sales tax invoices for customers.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including reconciliations, variance analysis on income and expenses, and preparing reports for investors.
  • Assist management in preparing financial documents, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports, by gathering, compiling, and analyzing account information.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures, and document all financial transactions accurately.
  • Monitor cash flow to ensure adequate funds are available for operations and handle all banking-related matters.
  • Provide comprehensive accounting and tax services.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.
  • Manage and execute the payroll process, including preparing, calculating, and disbursing salaries accurately and on time.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records, such as timesheets, attendance, and other related documents, and handle employee inquiries regarding payroll, tax deductions, and compensation.
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies, and stay updated on any changes to maintain ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to update and maintain employee records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and other changes.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports, including government-mandated filings (e.g., SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth, BIR).
  • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations to ensure payroll data accuracy and support internal and external audits.
  • Assist in implementing payroll systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.


Requirement

Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess at least a Diploma or equivalent professional qualification in Finance/Accountancy or proven work experience as a Finance & Account Executive or similar role.
  • Ideally with a minimum of 2 years of all-rounded Finance and local payroll experience
  • Knowledge of basic Microsoft Office skills is required and proficiency in MS Excel/ Google Sheets.
  • Background in a fast-paced entrepreneurial or startup/technology environments
  • Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within the Philippines.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
