1.      Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools, and reassemble equipment.

2.      Dismantle devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, hand tools, and power tools.

3.      Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

4.      Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment.

5.      Align and balance new equipment after installation.

6.      Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

7.      Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

8.      Operates lathe machine, milling machine and drilling machine.

9.      Set up and operate machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.

10.  Inspect used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

11.  Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, and perform other maintenance actions, following preventive checklist.

12.  Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions.

13.  Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs as necessary.

14.  Coordinates with Production and R & D on sampling of new products, mold repairs and fabrication and commissioning of new machines and improvements.

15.  Undertake the safety and maintenance, repair and replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum productivity and quality.

Graduate of Vocational course in Industrial Electricity

National Certificate in Electrical Installation and Maintenance is an advantage

With one to three years of work experience in machine operation and machine trouble shooting

including electrical and mechanical problems preferably gained from plastic manufacturing company
