Description

  • Putting together a copy platform for campaigns to guide artists in developing the visual materials
  • Stringing brainstormed concepts together for presentation
  • Produce original, clear, and credible ideas, messages, scripts, and present these to clients and colleagues
  • Edit and proof work to ensure copy tone and brand standards are met across all content outputs
  • Collaborate with the creative team in conceptualizing campaigns and developing work that meet Client’s strategic business intent and objectives
  • Deliver projects within time frame and according to target
  • Review progress and modify copy until the client is satisfied.
  • Amending, revising or redeveloping adverts or campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director, account team or clients
  • Working on several campaigns at once, sometimes under pressure and often to tight deadlines
  • Work with internal and external teams to ensure maximum effectiveness of concepts
  • Oversee production, checking for quality of output and integrity of concept, seeing the project through to final execution
  • Participate in client pitches and proposals

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in an advertising agency setting.
  • Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing a range of writing styles and successful campaigns.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Creativity: Ability to generate innovative ideas and concepts that resonate with target audiences.
  • Brand Understanding: Familiarity with brand voice and tone, and the ability to adapt writing style accordingly.
  • Research Skills: Proficient in conducting research to inform content and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with creative teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Time Management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Digital Proficiency: Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices, including SEO and social media content strategies.
