Description

We are seeking a creative and skilled Part-time Copywriter to support our content team during Q2. This role will focus on crafting high-quality written content for a variety of platforms, including website copy, social media, email campaigns, and product descriptions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and a strong understanding of how to engage audiences across different mediums.

This position is part-time and designed to support our content needs on a flexible basis, with an emphasis on pooling resources for upcoming marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.

Employment Type: Part-time, Temporary (Q2)


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Write clear, engaging, and brand-consistent copy for a variety of materials including blog posts, email newsletters, landing pages, and product descriptions.
  • Campaign Support: Assist in creating copy for marketing campaigns, advertisements, and social media content to support the company’s business objectives.
  • Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and keywords to inform copy and ensure relevance.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing and design teams to ensure copy aligns with visual assets and overall brand messaging.
  • Review & Edit: Edit and proofread content to ensure grammatical accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Adjust for SEO: Ensure copy is optimized for SEO, including proper keyword usage, meta descriptions, and alt text for images.
  • Pool-Based Projects: Contribute to specific projects related to pooling, whether it's compiling content resources, creating informational guides, or drafting scripts for promotional videos or webinars.

Requirement

  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a copywriter or in a content-related role.
  • Skills: Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Ability to adapt tone and style based on the brand’s voice and target audience.
  • SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword research.
  • Tools: Comfortable with common content management systems (CMS) and tools like Google Docs, WordPress, and social media platforms.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in marketing or advertising copywriting, especially for digital platforms.
  • Basic understanding of design and visual content creation.
