Description

Primex Printers, Inc. is looking for a Business Development Officer who will work with a team to ensure excellent product and service delivery. They have a wealth of knowledge about a product, or range, and also analyze market trends, search out new business in the assigned area, develop sales, price and profitability strategies, build client relationships, recommend improvements, identify opportunities, and increase revenue.


  • Familiarizing yourself with all products and services offered by our company.
  • Generates high-quality sales leads, do follow ups after initial contact, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices, completing sales, and arranging deliveries.
  • Develops specific plan to ensure the revenue growth in all of the company’s products in the assigned area by maximizing the return of time investment for the assigned territory
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new products and services
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the market place, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new business and marketing opportunities.
  • Planning and overseeing new sales and/or marketing initiatives.
  • Analyzing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones, like suggesting upgrades or added products and services that may be of interest to clients.
  • Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities and improve sales.
  • Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events, as needed.
  • Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.
  • Other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
  • With at least a 2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in sales and marketing.
  • Strong business and technical acumen is a must. Quickly understands and interprets customer problems and navigates mid to complex technical processes.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles, techniques, systems, and standards.
  • Must have strong management, organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
  • Highly proactive, self-motivated and able to work without close supervision. Ability to learn and apply technical information and instructions.
