ASKS AND ACTIVITIES

1. Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately

2. Inspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade

3. Conduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity

4. Advise driver on good vehicle use.

5. Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

6. Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job

7. Keep logs on work and issues

8. Maintain equipment and tools in good condition

9. Drive for delivery as needed. 

10. Perform minor & major mechanical repairs.

11. Do welding and fabrication works

12. Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule.

13. Rotate and balance tires; change oil and filters; lubricate vehicle parts; inspect and replace hoses, belts, mirrors, lamps; and maintain all fluid levels.

14. Perform preventive maintenance, including bleeding of air tanks, on shop equipment according to established schedules.

15. Help keep motor pool, equipment, and tools in safe operating condition.

18. Evaluate all parts to be replaced

17. Perform other tasks as management prescribes
