• Design Development: Create architectural designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software and 3D modeling tools. Develop schematic designs, design development documents, and construction drawings.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure project requirements are met. Participate in project meetings and communicate design intent effectively.
• Client Interaction: Meet with clients to discuss project goals, requirements, and budgets. Present design concepts and make revisions based on client feedback.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs comply with local, state, and federal building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
• Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including specifications, construction drawings, and project reports.
• Research and Analysis: Conduct site analysis and feasibility studies. Research materials, building systems, and sustainable design practices.
• Visual Presentation: Create visual presentations and renderings to communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders.
• Project Management Support: Assist in project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Monitor project progress and help resolve any issues that arise.

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
• Experience: 2+ years of experience in architectural design, including internships or co-op positions.
• Software Proficiency: Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit), 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Rhino), and graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
• Knowledge: Understanding of building codes, zoning regulations, and construction processes. Familiarity with sustainable design principles is a plus.
• Skills: Strong creative and analytical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
