Description

Billing Responsibilities:

  1. Invoice Preparation: Generate accurate and timely invoices for goods and services rendered.
  2. Billing Queries: Address customer inquiries regarding billing statements and discrepancies.
  3. Payment Processing: Monitor incoming payments, update records, and ensure proper allocation.
  4. Credit Management: Evaluate customer creditworthiness and monitor overdue accounts.
  5. Record Keeping: Maintain organized and updated billing records for auditing purposes.
  6. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on billing status, outstanding receivables, and collections.

Requirements

Educational Background

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance: A bachelor's degree is often required, though an associate's degree may be acceptable for entry-level positions.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications like CPA (Certified Public Accountant), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), or similar credentials can be beneficial.

Technical Skills

  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and spreadsheet tools (e.g., Excel).
