Description

1. **Financial Transactions:**

- Record daily financial transactions, including patient payments, vendor payments, and other income and expenses.

- Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely and accurate manner.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.


2. **Bookkeeping:**

- Maintain the clinic's general ledger and ensure all transactions are recorded appropriately.

- Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements.


3. **Accounts Payable and Receivable:**

- Monitor and manage accounts payable, ensuring timely payment of invoices.

- Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.

- Prepare and send out invoices to patients and insurance companies.


4. **Payroll Processing:**

- Assist in the preparation and processing of employee payroll.

- Ensure all payroll deductions and contributions are accurately recorded.


5. **Financial Reporting:**

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Provide financial data and reports to the Clinic Manager as needed.

- Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.


6. **Compliance:**

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, including tax filings and audits.

- Assist with the preparation of documents for external audits.


7. **Administrative Support:**

- Provide general administrative support to the clinic's management team as needed.

- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare or clinic setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and coding is an advantage.
