Description
- Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain financial records.
- Invoice Processing: Prepare, review, and process invoices for payments, ensuring all necessary documentation is attached.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including tracking payments and follow-ups on outstanding invoices.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure that all financial records are balanced and discrepancies are addressed.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
- Documentation: Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports to ensure easy retrieval.
- Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
- Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining schedules.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting functions and suggest enhancements.
Requirement
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or issues.
