Description

  • Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain financial records.
  • Invoice Processing: Prepare, review, and process invoices for payments, ensuring all necessary documentation is attached.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable, including tracking payments and follow-ups on outstanding invoices.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank reconciliations and ensure that all financial records are balanced and discrepancies are addressed.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents and reports to ensure easy retrieval.
  • Communication: Liaise with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve billing issues and answer inquiries.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and legal regulations.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, including scheduling meetings and maintaining schedules.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the accounting functions and suggest enhancements.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in accounting or finance is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in data entry and financial reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or issues.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges efficiently.
  • Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support overall departmental goals.
