About the Role

• We are looking for a Desktop Software Developer to join our development team and help build, maintain, and enhance enterprise-wide ERP systems.
• This position focuses primarily on developing Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, and WPF. These applications form part of a larger software ecosystem that includes desktop, web, and mobile solutions, as well as services and systems.
• You will work on business-critical applications and connected services that support enterprise operations. Professional experience is preferred but not required. Fresh graduates and junior developers with a strong programming foundation, problem-solving ability, and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Windows desktop applications using C#, .NET, and WPF.
• Translate business and ERP requirements into reliable, maintainable software features.
• Work with NHibernate and other object-relational mapping concepts for application data access.
• Develop and maintain application features that use PostgreSQL databases.
• Integrate desktop applications with enterprise services through gRPC, MQTT, and RESTful APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, integration, and performance issues.
• Collaborate with developers working on desktop, web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following established development standards.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and system design activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation when required.
• Continuously improve technical knowledge and understanding of enterprise software development.

Job Requirements

Required

• Working knowledge of C# and .NET.
• Basic understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, including debugging, testing, and maintainable coding practices.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies, systems, and business processes.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a development team.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred but Not Required

• Experience with WPF or another .NET desktop application framework.
• Familiarity with NHibernate, Entity Framework, or another ORM framework.
• Experience using PostgreSQL.
• Experience consuming or developing RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with gRPC, MQTT, or other application integration and messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of multithreading, asynchronous programming, or network-connected applications.
• Familiarity with Git or another version control system.
• Experience developing desktop or enterprise business applications.
• Exposure to ERP, manufacturing, accounting, inventory, supply chain, or other business systems.
• Exposure to Java EE, WildFly, web development, or mobile development is an advantage but is not required for this desktop-focused role.
