Safety Officer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect the site to ensure it is a hazard-free environment
• Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
• Promotes safe practices at the job site
• Enforces safety guidelines
• Establishes safety standards and policies as needed
• Monitor the safety of all workers and work to protect them from entering hazardous situations
• Coordinate with HRD on relevant issues
• Perform any related task that may be assigned from time to time

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least a Senior High School graduate.
• Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of occupational safety standards, hazardous materials, and safe work practices.
• Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Certification (40-hour training).
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety regulations.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
