Test Automation Architecture & Strategy

• Architect and maintain robust, reusable, and scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing.

• Lead the integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure seamless execution across environments.

• Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and practices to enhance automation capabilities.

• Ensure traceability of automated tests to business requirements and user stories.

• Design strategies for creation of test data in batch process testing as well as data analysis of test results.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation strategies aligned with product goals and release cycles.

• Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior automation engineers.

• Participate in requirements and design reviews and provide input on requirements, design, and potential problems.

Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution

• Analyze test results, identify root cause of failures, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues.

• Maintain high standards of documentation and reporting for test automation processes.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

• 7+ years of experience in software test automation

• Advanced proficiency in programming languages and the software development process

• Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills and strong critical-thinking skills

• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C#

• Expertise in automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, RestAssured)

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, Agile practices, and SDLC

• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail, Zephyr)

• Experience with writing test cases and completing manual testing when needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of life insurance

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).

• Knowledge of security testing and accessibility testing practices.
